Randy Houser - They Call Me Cadillac Show Dog - Universal Music In a time when every artist on the country charts seems to be going Pop, mixing Rap in with their banjos or just going in too many different directions, it’s refreshing to know that a few artists are sticking to their roots and putting out traditional Country Music. Randy Houser’s latest album, They Call Me Cadillac is sure to top the charts and make fans fall back in love with what country music should sound like. With songs like Whistlin’ Dixie, Out Here in the Country and probably one of the saddest, strongest love songs I’ve ever heard, the country ballad Addicted, I'm hoping that other country music artists see how good and true this album sounds and follow suit. They Call me Cadillac brings you back to the true Southern Rock that made the Outlaw generation of country music have such a bad name, in a good way. Houser is moving in that direction and he does it with such conviction, you’d think he ran with legends like Waylon, Willie and Haggard by the lyrics strung together in his sure to be classics. If you’re searching for outlaw country sounds reminiscent of Waylon Jennings, it’s almost scary to hear Houser sing. If there was ever a replacement for the original Highway Man, Houser is next in line to take that distinct sound and make it his own. They Call Me Cadillac is so good, it’s been in my CD Player for days now and I’ve yet to even consider ejecting it. The songs keep me coming back, wanting more and already looking forward to what’s next from this rising legend. Make sure you check out Randy Houser's Website to see when he's coming to your area. We had a chance to see him perform and he sounds better live in concert than the Studio versions do, which is rare in this day in age of country stars. We also have a Gallery of Randy Houser from when we saw him live at the 2010 WeFest in Detroit Lakes Minnesota
